Manufacturing Control Wiring Technician

· The hours are from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
· The pay is 20.00 an hour

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Control Wiring Technician is responsible for a wide range of tasks including wiring, assembling, fitting, and mounting sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment. This role performs assembly as required and ensures all assignments are completed within acceptable quantity and perfect quality standards in alignment with assigned functions.
Duties & Key Responsibilities:
· Perform wiring of control panels, switchgear, switchboards, and ATS units.
· Proficiently read wiring diagrams and work independently to complete assignments.
· Wire electronics such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
· Assemble electrical switchboard equipment.
· Perform assigned functions from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing documentation.
· Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
· Maintain expected job progress and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.
· Exhibit teamwork by maintaining a positive, team-based attitude and supporting peers during high demand.
· Comply with scheduled start/stop times, break periods, and overtime as required.
· Perform other functions as assigned.
Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing setting.
Skills
· Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
· Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly (panelboards/switchboards preferred).
· Experience wiring power meters and controls.
· Experience using manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, templates, fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials, and prescribed safety equipment.
· Ability to read wiring schematics and point-to-point diagrams.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Commitment to health and safety practices, actively observing and incorporating safety standards.
· Active participation in safety training and demonstrated competency based on training received.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
