Job Overview
Pace Transportation is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, be comfortable with physical labor, and work effectively as part of a team.
Core Functions

Receive incoming products, verify quantities and conditions, and update inventory records accordingly.

Conduct quality checks on received products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.

Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.

Participate in the Annual Physical Inventory at the end of the year.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Assist in loading and unloading trucks as required.

Work collaboratively with other team members to meet productivity goals.

Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Competencies and Qualifications

Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
