We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook to prepare quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and following food safety standards to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and company standards
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor food inventory and notify management of shortages
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Work closely with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain one
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
