Essential Responsibilities
· Take architectural drawings and transform them into working shop drawings for submission and fabrication. This role involves learning to draw and engineer casework and millwork which are typically lobby desks, wall panels, cabinets, and countertops utilizing AutoCAD/BricsCAD and Microvellum software for Strata’s commercial cabinet and millwork business.
- Knowledge about Custom Millwork/finish carpentry is preferred. Strata’s Microvellum software draws cabinets and Strata can teach someone to draw in CAD but we are looking for someone who can look at architects drawings and work through how to build custom millwork/wood work products (Lobby Desks, Wall Panels, Benches).

Education:
· Knowledge about finished woodworking/carpentry
Experience:
· 5+ years of Custom Millwork/finish carpentry experience. Preference given to those that have experience using Microvellum. AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or similar software in a Millwork setting.

Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with cabinetry and millwork.
· 5 years of experience in millwork-related field.
· 2D & 3D CAD, preference given to BricsCAD and AutoCAD.
· CNC Programming
· Ability to read and review architectural drawings/plans and specifications.
· Architectural Millwork and Cabinet Making and/or installing.
· AWI Standards
· MS Office – Excel and Outlook
· Ability to create and edit custom projects within Microvellum. Utilizing excel formulas, products to work orders and machine centers.
· Creating and modifying the Microvellum Library to support the production drafting and programming team.
· Update the Microvellum Foundation Library to eliminate issues.
· Provide ongoing support to Production by troubleshooting and resolving programming-related issues.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement (CI) and engineering opportunities to enhance programming efficiency, quality, and standardization.
