Looking for an individual to fill a key position in the motor division with 3 to 5 years minimum experience preferred. Must have your own tools.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Troubleshooting, repairing and testing.
Disassembly, cleaning, inspecting, reassembly and testing of electric motors.
Inspection and evaluation of all motors physically and electrically
Perform preventative maintenance
Utilize test equipment such as surge/Hi-pot testing, micrometers, torque wrenches and multimeter
Documenting all information into data sheets.
Troubleshooting, repairing and testing various brands of induction motors and spindle motors
Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Use of basic hand tools and familiarity with industry specific and specialized tools
Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, ability to work independently or as a team, basic knowledge of electricity and electronics, lifting requirements of 50-60 lbs., and ability to read micrometers. Advanced skills desired include inspecting and testing all feedback types, familiar with removal and installation of feedback, and the ability to align feedbacks and drive test motors.
