Jowers Batteries is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team!
Schedule & Benefits:
*Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Full-time (40 hours per week) with overtime available
*Health insurance available after 60 days
Responsibilities:
*Unpack, unload, separate, and sort batteries for recycling
*Lift, stack, wrap, and prepare pallets for outgoing shipments
*Stack, wrap, and move pallets using a forklift
*Perform daily tasks while following all health and safety policies and procedures
*Complete other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to lift heavy batteries
- Ability to perform physically demanding and strenuous work
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures while performing physical labor
- Experience using power tools
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, lifting, reaching, and bending
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts in a non-air-conditioned warehouse
