About the Role:
Homewatch CareGivers of Lower Bucks County is looking for a compassionate and dependable Weekend On-Call Caregiver to join our growing team in Langhorne, PA. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to maintain a safe home environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to the care coordinator
- Respond to on-call needs over the weekend, filling in where coverage is required
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving, home health aide (HHA), or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends and respond to on-call scheduling needs
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and reference verification
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Comfortable working independently in a home care setting
