Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accounting Associate to manage our day-to-day financial tracking and inventory operations. In this role, you will handle bookkeeping, manage accounts receivable, prepare quarterly reports, and provide clear visibility into company expenses and costs. Additionally, you will bridge the gap between finance and operations by managing our physical and digital inventory updates.
The ideal candidate has strong numerical proficiency, hands-on experience with modern accounting software, and the ability to help optimize our business expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Financial Tracking
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital ledgers and daily bookkeeping records.
- Track, categorize, and report on all company expenses, overhead, and operational costs to maintain clear financial visibility.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), ensuring timely billing, invoicing, and collection tracking.
- Prepare and compile accurate financial data for quarterly reporting deadlines.
Inventory Control & Operations
- Manage and update inventory levels across digital systems, reconciling physical stock with accounting records.
- Track product costs (COGS) and inventory variances to help identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to ensure accurate reporting on supply assets and retail inventory.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or a dual accounting/inventory control role.
- Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of accounting software, POS and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to generate clean expense breakdowns.
- Education: Degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
Pay: From $600.00 per week
