American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position at a skilled nursing facility in Brunswick, ME, requiring a ME or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting with a 42-bed unit
-
Patient population includes LTC residents and post-surgical patients (CABG, orthopedic, respiratory — no vents)

Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
On-call requirement: 1 weekend per month (Friday 3:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)

Equipment used includes IV, EKG, and bladder scanner

EMR systems: Epic and American Data
-
Float requirement: up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
-
11-week contract
-
Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS/CPR certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Skilled nursing assessment experience required

IV experience preferred
-
Driver's license required for consideration

2 professional references required

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Provide nursing care to LTC and post-surgical patients in a SNF environment

Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (ME or NH residents) are considered local and subject to a different bill rate
-
Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
-
Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at time of consideration

Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position

Scrubs of any color are acceptable; tee shirts, tight clothing, and attire with logos or writing are not permitted

Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
