Solora Home Care is seeking an experienced, compassionate Live-In Caregiver for a private client recovering at home in West Los Angeles.
This is an excellent opportunity for a caregiver looking for a consistent, full-time live-in assignment with a supportive family and agency. A private bedroom and accommodations will be provided throughout the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility as needed
- Assist with bathing and personal hygiene
- Medication reminders
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany the client to medical appointments and errands as needed
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
- Follow the client's individualized care plan and Solora Home Care policies
Requirements
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration is required
- Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
- Previous live-in caregiving experience preferred
- Experience caring for seniors recovering from hospitalization or surgery is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Professional, dependable, compassionate, and patient
- Excellent communication skills
- Must successfully pass all Solora Home Care employment requirements
