Position Summary
The Retail Customer Service Associate delivers exceptional customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for shipment, assisting with printing and document services, operating laminating and binding equipment, operating point-of-sale equipment, and providing solutions that meet customers' needs.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner, enjoys working with people, is comfortable using computers and technology, and takes pride in providing a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and phone inquiries
- Process shipments through UPS and other carrier systems
- Assist customers with packing services and shipping options
- Operate copiers, printers, laminators, binding equipment, and other store technology
- Provide information about products and services, including mailbox rentals, printing services, and shipping solutions
- Accurately process transactions using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
- Learn and stay current on shipping, printing, and business service offerings
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
