We're looking for an experienced part time dental lab technician to cut/trim/polish night guards . Hours are flexible and may range week to week but will be approximately 10-20 hours/week (open to discussion). You will be working alongside a small team (3 other lab techs) to support our lab manager in night guard and sports guard production.
We need someone to hit the ground running without major training so you MUST have prior experience in a dental office or lab fabricating, trimming and polishing night guards, retainers, using a handpiece.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pour up and prepare models for night guard fabrication
- Block-out models and vacuum-form models
- Cut, trim, and polish a variety of night guards (hard, soft, hybrid, retainers) from start to finish
- Support lab manager in variety of lab generalist tasks (finding impressions, preparing cases, etc)
- Bonus: Interest or experience in 3D scanning/printing and digital dentistry
Qualifications
- Direct dental lab experience fabricating high quality night guards and essix retainers from start to finish in a variety of materials and thicknesses
- Very independent and able to work without supervision
- Reliable, effective, attention to detail
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and understanding of how to trim different types of night guards differently

- Compensation: Depends on experience, starting $21/hour
