This is not a seasonal position, we are seeking a permanent part-time employee to join our team.
*Starting date: Friday August 7, 2026
*Friday - Monday 7AM-6PM (3 hour lunch break included)
*Weekends are required

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for pets in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess the necessary skills to handle various pet care tasks effectively

Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, cleaning kennels and exercising. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during animal handling and care.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management.
- Assist with tasks such as administering medications or treatments as directed.
- Interact with pet owners, making bookings, updating client/pet information all while providing excellent customer service and answering any questions or concerns.
- Heavy emphasis on cleaning: Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including daily cleaning and sanitizing of kennels, play areas and equipment.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in animal care and handling.
Skills
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred but not required, we will train.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, working quick and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
- Knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus, but not necessary.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
