Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Construction Survey Technician. In this vital role, you will lead construction projects by performing precise land surveys, data collection, and drafting to ensure accurate project execution. Your expertise in survey equipment (Carlson Survey 2020), CAD software, and land measurement techniques will directly contribute to the successful completion of many projects ranging from mass grading to paving.
Experience
- Proven experience in land surveying or construction surveying roles with familiarity in GPS surveying, total stations, and level setups.
- Hands-on experience with CAD drafting software such as Carlson.
- Experience conducting utility locating and working with Schematics for infrastructure projects.
- Ability to perform construction staking accurately based on engineering drawings and schematics.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent data collection skills combined with analytical thinking to interpret survey results effectively.
- Prior construction experience is preferred to understand project workflows and safety standards.
- 2+ years experience with Carlson Survey 2020
- 3+ years experience with Construction
