Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering and basic math calculations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during all food handling and preparation activities
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to maintain a pristine environment
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with team members and guests
