The Math tutors will be responsible for conducting tutoring sessions with students by working and explaining, at a level the student can understand, math problems with which the student needs help.
SALARY: $8.00 per hour, not to exceed 19 hours per week. Associate degree (or the equivalent 60 semester hours) from an accredited institution earns $15.91 per hour, not to exceed 19 hours per week.
Part-time positions are posted based on the possible availability of a future assignment which are sporadic and may not occur. Available positions are contingent upon enrollment and instructional needs of the College.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Tutor. Participate in tutor training sessions and evaluate the progress of the students in the tutoring setting.

Organize tutoring sessions in ways that maximize student learning.

Evaluate student performance and provide feedback promptly to promote maximum learning.

- Completion with a grade of an A in Math 100 (A or B in a higher math course) is required.

An associate degree (or the equivalent of 60 semester hours) from an accredited college or university is required to be eligible for the $15.60.

Instructor recommendation written by student's Mathematics instructor is required.
Available positions are contingent upon enrollment and the instructional needs of the College.
