Elevated Materials collects and upcycles carbon fiber from local aerospace companies. We use this material to create a range of different products across many different industries.
This role is considered an entry level position. No experience is required, we offer a comprehensive training program for the right candidate.
The schedule for this role is a SECOND SHIFT. Working hours will be between 1 PM and 9 PM. In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to maintain this schedule.
Responsibilities & Core Competencies:
- Collect, handle and sort incoming or already received material in our onsite manufacturing shop
- Process material to create sheets and blocks
- Creates standard 0/90 layups for sheets
- Cuts material to specific sizes using trim knives and fixtures
- Sands and cleans parts
- Loads and unloads onsite press machines with material
- Quality inspection
- Log data to work order reports and inventory logs
- Utilizes existing software and programs to follow daily production schedule, log issues, track quality
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
- Ability to maintain consistent work schedule
- Ability to utilize cross functional platforms and comfort with digital systems
- Must be 18 years or older
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 1 PM - 9 PM, On Site
Compensation & Benefits:
- $22- $26 Hourly
