While our Sales Department focuses on providing innovative, dependable, and cost-effective vehicles, our Service and Parts Departments are dedicated to minimizing downtime and ensuring our customers and technicians have the support and resources they need to succeed.
Operating out of a modern 30,000-square-foot state-of-the-art service and parts facility, United CDJR features one of the largest service and parts operations within the five boroughs. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Parts Counter Salesperson to join our expanding team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist customers and technicians in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
- Accurately identify, source, and price parts and accessories using manufacturer catalogs and dealership systems.
- Maintain accurate inventory organization and ensure incoming stock is placed in the correct locations.
- Keep the parts department clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Promote current parts and service specials to customers when applicable.
- Communicate effectively with the service department and other team members daily.
- Deliver parts to customers and vendors using the company parts van as needed.
- Demonstrate professionalism and behaviors consistent with the Company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive parts department experience required.
- Prior automotive sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Solid computer and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and positive work ethic.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
