Must be willing to work with all age groups (8 weeks to 5 years of age) with flexible scheduling abilities. Positions full-time only scheduled for 8 hours a day between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Entry level pay will be based on education and qualifications. Send pay expectations with resume.
Education Qualifications:
**Required: High School Diploma and have the NC Early Childhood Education Credential** ( would be hired as teacher aide without at a lesser pay rate).
Preferred: A.A/A.S, B.A/B.S., or higher in Early Childhood Education
Job Duties Include:
- Providing quality childcare with a focus on individual learning to meet children's physical, mental, and emotional needs.
- Planning and teaching a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in a fun and interactive manner.
- Plan and conduct indoor and outdoor experiences to meet the needs of each child’s developmental level.
- Interacting with children both physically and verbally throughout the day to provide a positive environment
- Assist children with any task needed throughout the day in a loving and supportive manner
- Provide an organized and sanitary environment for the children.
- Foster healthy eating by serving and eating meals with the children
- Attend meetings and staff development programs
- Comply with state licensing requirements, childcare laws and rules
Skills
- Must be Loving, compassionate, flexible and child-focused when interacting with children.
- Must be able to multi-task with superior supervision skills to provide a safe environment.
- Ability to promote a positive environment for all children and resolve any conflicts.
- Excellent communication and people skills

- Current criminal background check (Must have current qualifying letters from NC DCDEE)
- Drug Screen
- TB test
- CPR/First Aid Training
- ITS-SIDS Training (if applicable)
- Health Statement/Physical from a physician
