About Us
We are a busy general dental practice offering comprehensive dental services, including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental care, including professional cleanings (prophylaxis and scaling/root planing).
- Conduct oral health assessments and charting of periodontal conditions.
- Take and process digital X-rays as needed.
- Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide (if licensed and applicable).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
- Contribute to a positive and professional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Valid California Dental Hygienist License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a general dental practice preferred but not required.
