Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glasses, garnishes, liquor bottles, and mixers quickly and efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and disposing of trash to uphold health standards
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including handling simple food items or garnishes for cocktails and snacks
- Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills to keep the bar area hygienic and organized at all times
- Experience in food preparation, catering, or restaurant environments enhances your ability to support the team effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order entry
- Ability to handle food safely with proper food handling techniques in accordance with health regulations
- Excellent customer service skills to assist guests courteously and professionally
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Kitchen experience or barista background can be advantageous in understanding beverage prep and food presentation
- Hospitality experience that emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude
