Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual English/Spanish Shipping Supervisor to oversee the shipping operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and deadlines while managing a team and maintaining compliance with safety and operational guidelines. This role requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish to effectively coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, schedule, and oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely delivery of products.

Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet shipping deadlines.

Lead, train, and manage a team of shipping associates, ensuring high performance and productivity.

Assign tasks and monitor team performance to maintain operational efficiency.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Monitor shipment accuracy, packaging standards, and documentation.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, including packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels.

Ensure proper inventory levels and collaborate with inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.

Use shipping software and ERP systems to manage orders and track shipments.
Qualification:

Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

Proven experience as a Shipping Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Familiarity with shipping procedures, freight carriers, and logistics coordination.

Proficiency in using ERP systems, shipping software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Extended periods of standing, walking, and manual dexterity for handling goods.

MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED.
