The Assistant Director of Disability Services provides leadership and operational oversight for disability services across Roosevelt University’s Chicago and Schaumburg campuses, online programs, and university partner schools (MCC and Harper). The Assistant Director works collaboratively with the Executive Director of Libraries and Academic Support to ensure equitable access to University programs, services, and learning environments through the coordination and implementation of reasonable accommodations and accessible practices.
The Assistant Director manages accommodations for an assigned student population; supervises professional and student employees including Peer Mentors; provides leadership for disability services systems and processes; and develops collaborative partnerships with faculty, academic programs, and University offices. The position also provides educational programming for students, faculty, and staff that advances accessibility, inclusive practices, and student success.
The Assistant Director serves as a resource to students, faculty, and staff regarding disability-related accommodations and accessibility and helps ensure University practices are consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and other applicable laws and regulations.
This is a hybrid position with the expectation of 4 days on campus.

The salary range for this position is $53,000-$63,000
