Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Civil Carpenter Journeyman to work at the Valero Corpus Christi Refinery with 4 years of work experience.
The job is 4/10's for 4 months, requires a TWIC card, Disa Drug Test and a background check.
This job does not pay per-diem.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pours, ensuring precision and stability according to specifications
- Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures to provide strength and durability
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently on-site
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and surface treatment to achieve smooth finishes aligned with project standards
- Ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing proper PPE at all times
- Collaborate with team members to interpret technical specifications and ensure accurate implementation of construction plans
Pay: $32.50 - $35.00 per hour
