King County Housing Authority is seeking a versatile, reliable, and customer-focused Regional Maintenance Mechanic to support the functionality, safety, and overall appearance of a four-property commercial portfolio, including our Central Campus, Kent Family and Youth Centers, and the Wiley Center. This hands-on role requires a well-rounded professional capable of performing journeyman-level work across both planned projects and urgent maintenance needs in a professional, public-facing environment.
This position requires a high level of independence across multiple locations and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is a multi-skilled trades professional with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and delivering high-quality service.

Salary & Benefits:
The starting salary for this position is $46.06 - $48.35 per hour depending on experience and education. The full salary schedule is $46.06 - $51.87 per hour. A comprehensive health care benefits package for you and your dependents includes medical, dental and vision insurance, life and long-term disability insurance plans, vacation, sick and personal leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits are available.
