We are seeking a highly motivated Master Paralegal to join our team. This role serves as an important member of the legal team, providing a blend of operational and substantive paralegal support. This role is responsible for managing case-related activities, maintaining critical deadlines, supporting legal document preparation, and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operational milestones are met. The position requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Compensation will range from $50’s to $80’s, based on skills and experience, in addition to competitive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage court deadlines, hearing schedules, depositions, client meetings, and other case-related events to ensure timely execution of all legal matters.
- Prepare, draft, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, discovery materials, legal memoranda, and appellate filings in state and federal courts.
- Manage all aspects of case administration, including maintaining case files, pleadings and discovery indexes, litigation calendars, and case management systems.
- Conduct legal research, factual investigations, and information gathering to support case strategy and attorney preparation.
- Coordinate discovery activities, including preparing interrogatories, document requests, responses, and related case materials.
- Support litigation and trial preparation by organizing exhibits, evidence, trial binders, briefs, appendices, deposition materials, and other case documentation.
- Serve as a liaison among attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other external parties to coordinate case activities, scheduling, and communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, document management, workflow efficiency, and overall practice operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience preferred, but willing to train for the ideal candidate.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Experience managing calendars, deadlines, and multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
