Description:
As a 1st Shift Production Supervisor at Progressive Surface, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, & safety. You will be responsible for managing a team of production workers & coordinating production schedules to meet customer demands & organizational goals.

Commissions & stages material for production.

Verifies all production machine setups & work instructions are followed

Maintain safe & organized operations

Proficient in all production and quality tasks

Monitor inventory levels for raw material & communicate needs prior to any shortages

Works closely with all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring support of meeting labor standards, quality standards, & adherence to manufacturing specifications

Provides team members daily workstation assignments

Directs & coordinates maintenance activities

Supports a culture of Lean continuous improvement seeking to minimize waste

Assists with performance evaluations, training / coaching, tracking attendance, & administering company policies.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.

Previous leadership experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate positive, professional behavior at all times.

Ability to work within team environment required.

Good verbal & written communication skills.

Ability to use computer & scanning equipment.

Manufacturing procedure background.

Ability to read & understand work instructions & quality procedures & other instructional material printed in English preferred.
