Position Summary:
The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for creating a welcoming experience for all guests while managing front desk operations, reservations, and guest requests. This role is key to ensuring each guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Weekend shifts are required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Manage reservations and answer phone inquiries
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and service issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records and process payments
- Balance cash drawer and complete shift reports
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age to sell alcohol
- Previous customer service or hotel experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn property management systems
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
