Job Title: PRN Housekeeping Assistant

Job Type: PRN, AM and/or PM shifts
Overview:
Join our team at SMP Health, where we provide Christ-like care and compassion to residents. We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms.
- Operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, mops).
- Follow infection control and safety protocols, including proper PPE use.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ rights.
- Assist with emergency procedures and participate in safety drills.
Qualifications:
- Previous long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and move furniture; work on weekends/holidays as needed.
