Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and organize products efficiently to ensure easy access and visual appeal
- Operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely and effectively
- Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks, inventory control procedures, and accurate record keeping
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading, unloading, and verifying shipments using proper manual handling practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse or retail space by performing routine cleaning and organization tasks
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to store standards and promotional displays
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, assisting with product location, and ensuring a positive shopping environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stock organization
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while following safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for counting, pricing, and inventory calculations
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, merchandising standards, and grocery store operations is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and maintain high levels of safety and efficiency
