Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for evening shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM. Responsibilities
- Assist residents and patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Support medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents with dementia or memory care needs, utilizing specialized Alzheimer’s and behavioral health care techniques.
- Assist with patient transfers using safe transfer methods and equipment such as patient lifts or transfer boards; ensure safety protocols are followed during all movements.
- Document patient care activities thoroughly in medical documentation systems like Epic or Cerner, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine units to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification with current state licensure; prior experience working in long-term care facilities or assisted living environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and basic life support (BLS) certification required.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/Epic/eClinicalWorks) systems for accurate medical documentation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively using proper lifting practices; experience with Hoyer lifts is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM in a fast-paced healthcare environment that values compassion, teamwork, and excellence in patient care.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
