Allentown Kia is looking to hire an experienced Kia / Hyundai Automotive Technician to join our team in Allentown, PA!
This role would require an experienced technician with an understanding of Kia or Hyundai vehicles, as the role will primarily focus on these makes and models.This position requires a five-day work week.
Kia / Hyundai Automotive Technician Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- Kia or Hyundai maintenance experience required
- ASE or other automotive certifications is a plus!
- Working knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and able to be detail oriented
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Kia / Hyundai Automotive Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct a diagnosis of Kia or Hyundai vehicles based on customer needs and initial inspection; document and outline services
- Perform work as outlined on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Provide recommendations for any additional services needed based on initial inspection and assessment during service; communicate this information to service advisors
- Road test vehicles to ensure repairs were completed successfully
- Document all work performed and recommended on repair order and return completed documents to service advisor upon completion
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of customer vehicles and service center
- Attend factory-sponsored training courses
- Abide by all attendance and work shift requirements
