About the Role
This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of Operations, Sales, and Marketing, driving alignment between financial outcomes and go-to-market performance. You will play a critical role in scaling from early-stage operations to a repeatable, data-driven revenue model, while partnering closely with an outsourced accounting firm to execute core accounting operations.
Candidate must have experience with SaaS metrics, KPIs, and reporting.
What You’ll Own
1. Financial Reporting
- Work with current outsourced accounting firm on monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Oversee and manage the outsourced accounting firm to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Build internal controls
2. Revenue Accounting & Compliance
- Own revenue recognition across SaaS and data products
- Improve visibility into revenue, bookings, and financial performance
3. Revenue Infrastructure
- Own and scale HubSpot architecture and data model
- Build and maintain clean data, automation, and reporting systems
- Evaluate and implement tools (CPQ, billing, analytics)
4. Quote-to-Cash & Billing Transformation
- Design and optimize the full quote-to-cash lifecycle
- Lead transition from HubSpot Payments to Stripe and billing workflows
- Ensure tight integration between CRM, billing, and accounting systems
- Oversee invoicing, collections, and cash application (in partnership with outsourced firm)
5. Sales Forecasting & Metrics
- Implement forecasting models across products and segments
- Improve pipeline visibility, deal hygiene, and conversion tracking
- Standardize definitions for key metrics (ARR, CAC, conversion rates, pipeline velocity)
- Deliver reporting and insights to improve GTM performance
- Align pipeline activity with financial reporting
6. Financial & Data Strategy
- Partner with leadership on pricing and monetization strategies
- Analyze profitability across product lines and customer segments
- Support financial modeling for data and subscription products
- Align financial planning with revenue strategy
7. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the bridge between Finance and GTM teams
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and leadership
- Translate operational activity into financial insights
- Drive scalable processes that support growth
- Serve as the primary internal owner coordinating with the outsourced accounting partner
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 7–12+ years in Accounting, Finance, or Revenue Operations roles
- Experience in SaaS or recurring revenue business models
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Experience managing or partnering with outsourced accounting firms
- Deep experience with HubSpot (architecture, reporting, automation)
- Experience building and managing quote-to-cash processes
- Familiarity with Stripe or similar billing platforms
- Strong analytical, systems, and Excel skills
Preferred
- Experience in data or analytics businesses
- Experience in RevOps or Sales Operations leadership roles
- Experience with multi-product or multi-ICP sales models
- Familiarity with MSP / IT channel ecosystems
- Experience with CPQ or advanced billing systems
Pay: $110,072.94 - $139,000.00 per year
