Duties
- Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and inventory management
- Supervise and motivate warehouse team members to meet productivity goals and maintain high safety standards
- Oversee inventory control procedures using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Manage logistics operations related to e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL (third-party logistics), and heavy lifting tasks
- Conduct process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce errors in warehouse distribution
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling tasks while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to implement best practices in warehouse management and materials handling
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse environments with a focus on inventory management, shipping & receiving, or logistics
- Prior leadership or team management experience within a warehouse or distribution setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and inventory control processes
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in forklift operation, heavy lifting, and materials handling equipment
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse safety protocols
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Warehouse supervisor experience is preferred but not required; leadership qualities are essential
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments involving e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL operations, and logistics coordination
