We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QC Part Inspector to join our Aerospace manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will ensure that all parts and components meet stringent quality standards through meticulous inspection and analysis. Duties
- Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision inspection machines to verify part specifications and tolerances to customers drawings.
- Work towards higher certifications through our customer programs such as GE DSQR.
- Perform 1st article inspections and enter corresponding info. into computer or customers ERP programs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP, CGMP, and quality management protocols
- Participate in calibration activities for measurement equipment to maintain accuracy and reliability
- Support quality assurance initiatives by maintaining detailed inspection records, supporting internal audits, and facilitating continuous improvement efforts
Skills
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices
- Experience working with calibration tools like calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems for precise measurements
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and understanding of industry-specific regulations.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and generating detailed reports for quality management review
- Ability to operate or learn to operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and or vision inspection machines effectively and interpret measurement results accurately
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills for identifying defects or deviations in parts
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to organize work responsibilities and multi task successfully.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.75 per hour
