Job Overview

Pepperwood Health is excited to find a dynamic leader establish a footprint for management in Wisconsin. We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the community during its opening phase and ongoing growth.
This role is ideal for a senior living leader with a strong background in sales, occupancy, growth, project management, construction/remodeling, licensing, and medicaid billing. The Executive Director will be responsible for overall community leadership, daily operations, and driving census while maintaining high standards of care and service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Marketing, and Occupancy
- Lead all sales and marketing efforts to grow occupancy and expand community size.
- Actively participate in tours, follow-up, and closing.
- Develop relationships with referral sources, hospitals, physicians, home health, and community partners.
- Track leads, conversions, and market trends to support census growth
Community Leadership and Staff Management
- Hire, train, and manage department leaders and staff
- Build a positive and accountable workplace culture
- Provide coaching, performance management, and leadership development
- Maintain a visible and hands-on presence throughout the community
Operations and Compliance
- Oversee daily senior living operations
- Ensure compliance with state and local regulations
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and operational performance
- Partner with Pepperwood Health leadership on planning and reporting
Resident and Family Relations
- Ensure a high-quality resident and family experience
- Address concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Support resident satisfaction and retention
Required Qualifications
- Senior living experience in an Executive Director, Administrator, or similar leadership role
- Proven success in sales, lease-up, or occupancy growth
- Experience managing teams in assisted living, independent living, or memory care
- Experience with remodels, new construction, community expansion, and licensing.
- Experience with Medicaid billing.
- Strong understanding of senior living operations and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay: $68,345.00 - $92,828.00 per year
