Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and steering components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and part replacements while adhering to safety standards.
- Work on specialized systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and diesel engines to meet diverse customer needs.
- Complete auto estimating for repairs and communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures and timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostics results to ensure transparency and quality control.
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with dealership or automotive repair shop background preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes, especially GM vehicles or similar brands.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with calibration brake systems, welding,
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transmissions, oil change procedures, alignment techniques, suspension systems, tire service, and brake repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Join us in delivering exceptional automotive care!
