Job Title: Houseman (Housekeeping / Maintenance Support)
Position Summary
Supports housekeeping operations by maintaining clean public areas, assisting room attendants, and performing light maintenance and basic groundskeeping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas (lobby, hallways, restrooms, stairwells)
- Assist housekeeping with linens, trash removal, and supply restocking
- Respond to guest requests (towels, amenities) in a timely, professional manner
- Remove trash and keep back-of-house areas organized
- Perform light maintenance (bulb replacement, minor repairs, unclogging drains)
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain exterior areas (entryways, parking lot, walkways)
- Complete groundskeeping tasks such as litter removal, snow removal, and basic landscaping
- Follow all safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping, maintenance, or similar experience preferred
- Basic repair skills and ability to use tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
