Tree climber trainee requirements:
- Degree in Forestry, Horticulture, or closely related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Knowledge of tree and shrub identification, including common pests and plant diseases.
- Understanding of plant health principles, including tree physiology, pest management, and disease prevention.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Key responsibilities:
- Provide best-in-class tree and shrub pruning, removals, ground operation and cleanup for residential and commercial clients.
- Assist with tree fertilization and pest and disease services to promote tree health.
- Maintain safe work practices and standards
- Operate company vehicles, including large trucks used for towing equipment.
- Work with customers to provide high-quality service and satisfaction
The tree climber trainee position:
- Will receive required equipment, training on ground crew operations, proper pruning and tree removal techniques, safe tree climbing procedures, and other key concepts related to tree maintenance and plant health care.
- Includes medical and dental benefits after a 60-day waiting period

This position starts at $20.00/hour with immediate availability for increase based on skills and job performance. Benefits include medical, dental, and more, after the waiting period.
