The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and overall appearance of guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities. The position ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned, organized, and supplied with the necessary linens, towels, and cleaning products to provide a clean and comfortable environment for guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards.
- Make beds and replace bed linens, towels, and other room supplies as needed.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and guest-room amenities.
- Clean and disinfect common areas to maintain proper hygiene and sanitation.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for linens, room supplies, and cleaning products.
- Perform daily laundry duties, including handling and organizing linens and towels.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an orderly manner.
- Follow established safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned.
