We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have
a love for animals, experience handling dogs of all sizes, and a commitment to providing safe, quality grooming care.
Job Overview:
As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for grooming pets, keeping them comfortable during the process, and helping maintain their overall well-being. This position requires someone who can work closely with both pets and their owners while providing excellent customer service in a clean and safe environment.
Duties Include:
Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail trims, gland expression, ear cleaning, and paw pad trimming, groom various breeds of dogs.
Review each pet's coat and skin condition to determine the appropriate grooming.
Safely handle animals using proper restraint techniques when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas.
Sanitize tools and equipment after each use.
Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming needs and any concerns.
Requirements:
Must be proficient in grooming techniques for various breeds
Must be certified as a dog groomer and able to provide certificate.
Must be comfortable handling both large and small dogs.
Must be able to safely lift dogs up to 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have knowledge of animal care, safe handling, and restraint practices.
Must have your own grooming tools, including blades, clippers, shears, and brushes.
Must be reliable, professional, and compassionate with animals
Schedule:
This poisition is offered as full time or part time 20 to 40 hours a week based on preference
Pay:
50% commission per dog
Groomer keeps all tips
