Role Description
Midwest confectionery plant located in Columbus Ohio is looking to fill the position of Industrial Maintenance Engineer with at least 5 years of experience. Must demonstrate ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs. Experience maintaining electrical control systems on complex process and high-speed packaging equipment. Knowledge of analog and digital controls, state of the art PLC’s and microprocessors. Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls. The ability to use shop equipment and basic knowledge of welding. Familiar with maintenance software including preventive maintenance program. Must be able to know and follow all safety and good manufacturing practices. Must pass physical, drug screen and background check. Qualifications
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair skills
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Experience maintaining electrical control systems on complex process and high-speed packaging equipment
- Knowledge of analog and digital controls, state of the art PLC's and microprocessors
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic controls
- Familiar with maintenance software including preventive maintenance programs
- Must be able to know and follow all safety and good manufacturing practices
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices
- Knowledge of Industrial Maintenance processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is a plus
