Private General Dental Practice seeking part time dental assistant with minimum 1 year experience required.
Overview
Our Team is looking for an exceptional dental assistant who is friendly, outgoing, hardworking and organized that can build and maintain positive relationships with our patients and staff. The position is part time Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. More hours and days are available at our Chandler location on Tuesdays and Fridays if desired. Our office is unique in that we provide all dental services including, general dentistry, orthodontics, implant placement, restoration laser periodontics and wisdom teeth extraction utilizing IV sedation. Would prefer that the candidate had sedation monitoring but will train the right person.
Job Duties include
Sterilization of instruments
Prepare operatory for dental procedures
Clean operatory after procedures
Assist the doctor with dental procedures
Write up dental charts
Polish teeth
Scan patients with a 3d intraoral scanner
Make temporary crowns and prepare patient for 3d scanning or impressions
Impression taking
Expose dental x-rays
Expose CBCT 3d x-ray scans
Take intraoral scans for crowns, bridges, implants, orthodontics and dentures
Take intra oral photos
Maintain and clean dental equipment, autoclave, sterilization area and lab equipment
Fabricate clear retainers
Be prepared to deliver cpr and assist doctor in life saving care
Answer phones and call patients
Schedule appointments
Present treatment plans to patients
Skills/Abilities
Assist the doctor with dental procedures
Maintain excellent patient service
Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
Experience with whitening, impressions, crowns, root canals, dental implants, veneers and braces preferred
such as extractions, bone grafting and
X-ray certification required or willing to get it in 90 days
Coronal polish certification preferred or willing to get it in 90 days

1 year assisting experience required
