American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with vascular OR and endovascular cases, working day shifts in a hospital OR setting.

Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting serving an adult to geriatric patient population
-
Vascular OR cases including hybrid OR, endovascular procedures, vascular service line, and EVAR
-
Experience with CSI and Penumbra systems is preferred
-
Epic EMR (preferred) and Pyxis medication system in use
-
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Call responsibilities include approximately 2 weekends and 8–10 weekdays of call per 8-week schedule
-
May float to the Main OR on rare occasions
-
OR scrubs are provided by the facility
-
Active GA or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of CVOR or vascular OR experience required

Endovascular experience required
-
No scheduling requests or alternate shift arrangements will be accommodated
-
First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
-
Candidates must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
-
RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

RTO blackout period: Spring Break (April 4–12)

Holiday coverage policy: if 1 or 2 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work 2 of them
-
Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit

Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Candidates undergo a clinical screening review prior to manager consideration
