POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assembly Technician Level 2 is responsible for meeting production schedules and Work Orders assigned by the Assembly Technician Lead. The key focus is on quality, completion, and precision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assembly Technician Level 2 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

Complete basic sub-assemblies independently.

Read work orders.
-
Complete, and report production.
-
Accurately place part identification on finished goods.

Base level understanding of prints.
-
Assemble simple finished products independently.
-
Complete complex sub-assemblies independently.
-
Use appropriate strategies and solutions for dealing with conflicts and differences to maintain a smooth workflow.

Follow instructions of Assembly Technician Lead.

Maintain required attendance and punctuality as scheduled to meet production goals.

Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The Assembly Technician Level 2 must at a minimum possess the following:

High school diploma or GED.

One year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.

Ability to comprehend production requirements.
-
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Assembly Technician Level 2 must be able to:

Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.

Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
-
Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).

Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
