Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations at our hotel. This energetic position combines guest relations, administrative duties, and security responsibilities to provide exceptional service and maintain the integrity of our property during the night shift. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night guests and a key player in upholding our high standards of hospitality management. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment while safeguarding our property and guests.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during the overnight hours with professionalism and warmth, utilizing excellent phone etiquette and multilingual skills if applicable.
- Conduct nightly audits using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA to reconcile accounts, update reservation statuses, and ensure accuracy of guest billing.
- Manage front desk operations including multi-line phone systems, guest check-ins/check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with exceptional customer service problem-solving skills.
- Monitor security cameras, perform visual inspections of the property, and enforce hotel emergency procedures to maintain safety and security throughout the premises.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and foster positive guest relations to enhance overall guest experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, with familiarity in front desk functions and property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services, and hotel management best practices.
- Excellent phone communication skills with experience handling multi-line phone systems and client communication.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred; hospitality reservation systems expertise is highly valued.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios with a focus on guest satisfaction.
