About Pivot Weight Loss
Pivot Weight Loss is not your typical weight loss clinic.
We help patients change their lives through bariatric surgery, medical weight loss, nutrition support, and long-term lifestyle coaching. We are growing fast because we do one thing really well: we help people lose weight, regain confidence, and build a healthier future.
Our team is built around one simple idea: patients deserve more than a quick visit and a handout. They deserve real support, clear guidance, and a team that actually cares.
That is where you come in.
We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who can help our patients feel educated, supported, and empowered before and after their weight loss journey.
The Role
As a Registered Dietitian at Pivot Weight Loss, you will work directly with patients who are preparing for bariatric surgery, recovering after surgery, or working through a medical weight loss program.
Your job is not just to tell people what to eat.
Your job is to help patients understand nutrition in a way that feels simple, realistic, and doable. We want someone who can take complicated topics and make them easy for everyday people to understand.
The right person is part educator, part coach, part accountability partner, and part cheerleader.
What You’ll Do
You will:
- Provide nutrition counseling for bariatric and medical weight loss patients
- Educate patients before and after surgery on diet stages, protein goals, hydration, vitamins, and long-term habits
- Help patients create practical meal plans that fit their real lives
- Support patients through plateaus, challenges, emotional eating, and lifestyle changes
- Document visits clearly and accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with surgeons, providers, medical assistants, and patient coordinators
- Lead or support group nutrition classes, webinars, or patient education sessions
- Help improve our nutrition program as Pivot continues to grow
- Deliver a high-touch patient experience that makes people feel cared for, not judged
