Janitorial Crew Member
Job Summary
Responsible for routine janitorial cleaning and stocking of supplies inside of assigned building, including general office areas as well as kitchens, break rooms, and conference rooms. Will perform light cleaning including limited vacuuming and spill level cleanup. Will assist the customer in coordinating meetings and lunches.
Job Duties
- Respond to building requests as instructed.
- Replenish kitchen supplies such as coffee, soda, and spirits.
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels and utensils.
- Assist with light cleaning of surfaces such as counters, sinks, tables, and chairs.
- Assist with meeting and lunch setup in breakroom, meeting rooms, and kitchens.
- Assist with clearing light spills such as vacuuming and mopping small spills on floors.
- Help in maintaining supply levels for the customer.
- Communicate issues with the customer and your management team.
- Fill or replenish paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers as needed.
- Perform light dusting, spot clean glass partitions, and other light damp cleaning as necessary.
- Follow all safety and personnel rules, policies and regulations.
Job Qualifications
- Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
- Able to lift 35 lbs. and carry a 12 lbs. backpack vacuum cleaner.
- Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Must be willing and able to work in damp, dusty and soiled areas and clean up human waste and other body fluids as necessary.
- Must be able to function as main contact for client in building, using high level of professionalism and communication skills.
- Must have ability to work with customer supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to complete on a daily basis.
- Must be organized and able to follow a schedule.
