Front Desk Agent – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) & Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

The Day Shift Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest experience during peak check-out hours while setting the tone for the day across the hotel.
The Evening Shift Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest experience during peak check-in hours while setting the tone for the evening across the hotel.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, energetic, guest-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests
- Handle check-outs efficiently and accurately during peak morning hours
- Assist with early arrivals and same-day reservations
- Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and provide local recommendations
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Recognize and engage Choice Privileges members when applicable
Daily Operations
- Balance and reconcile cash drawers and prior day transactions
- Review arrivals, departures, and in-house guest needs for the day
- Coordinate with housekeeping on room status and priorities
- Communicate with maintenance and other departments regarding guest needs
- Ensure lobby, front desk, and public areas are clean and presentable
Support for Hotel Operations
- Assist restaurant and outlet guests with directions and general information
- Support group and meeting guests with wayfinding and basic needs
- Communicate important updates to the afternoon and leadership teams
- Maintain awareness of hotel activity, occupancy, and guest flow
What We’re Looking For
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and efficient during busy check-out periods
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance is essential
Schedule
- Typically 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Includes weekends and holidays
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available
