Job Title: Research Associate I
Department: Clinical Operations
The primary purpose of a Research Associate I is to assist in the activities that need to be completed to conduct a clinical study.

Ability to communicate clearly with staff and subjects.

Perform all activities at screening as required by study protocol. Activities may include, but not limited to: obtaining height and weight measurements and calculating BMI, collecting vital signs, performing an electrocardiogram (ECG), collecting medical history information and collecting blood and urine samples for clinical laboratory testing.

Review the consent forms thoroughly and clearly with subjects and answer all questions to help ensure understanding.

Ensure all data collection is attributable, legible, contemporaneous, original and accurate.

Schedule flexibility to meet the needs of study requirements.

Provide support to Clinical Research Coordinators to ensure activities necessary for both pharmacokinetic and vasoconstriction studies are completed. Activities may include, but not limited to: Performing timed blood draws, processing blood samples, or completing chromameter readings.
